A disciple of Jesus Christ and called to be a DAUGHTER OF EL-ELYON: The Most High God.
Growing up, I was in Sunday School when God gave me an assignment to walk in His footsteps, but I turned and walked the wrong direction. I was in high school when I heard God’s voice, said to me “preach”, but I said No, all twelve of Jesus’ disciples were men and I ignored the call, and decided to live and not to follow Jesus.
At twenty-four years old I heard God said to me. ”Don’t marry him“ but I disobeyed and looked at how much It cost me for the wedding and married him anyway, because I was tired of the life I was living but, I chose to marry a man rather than to marry Jesus, and it almost cost me my soul but, God’s mercy rewrote my life.
One year later ,forty eight years ago ,I made the decision to totally surrender my life fully to God and rededicated my life to Jesus Christ, my Lord and savior , after I heard the message preached by one of my favorite preachers Rex Humbard “YOU MAY GET WHAT YOU WANT, BUT YOU MAY NOT WANT WHAT YOU GET, IF YOU LEAVE GOD OUT”. God saved me, sanctified me and filled me with His Holy Spirit.
1981 January, God gave me His word Deuteronomy 30 vs 19-20 to choose life and Romans 10 vs 14-17 He called me to preach, and again I said no, but this time, He had someone ask me in a home Bible Study, if I believe women are called to preach and told me to answer her. I sheepishly said yes. The sisters in Christ gave me the scripture 1 Corinthians 14 vs 33 to 36. Let women be silent in the church. I could not wait to get home to tell God what the Bible said The next morning ,the Bible Study teacher called me early to apologize to me because God told her in her devotional time He called me to preach and to give me the scripture Matthew 28 vs 18-19 and tell me to read it out loud, so both of us could hear it. I said to God (are you telling people this how can I go to bible school having three children at the time and a husband who was not a believer?) His answer “No Bible school, the Holy Ghost is your teacher the BIBLE is your textbook I want your life". I gave my life to God withholding nothing and He brought me through the waters and through the fire, but God never left me neither did He forsake me, when I was weak, He was my strength, He healed my broken heart and restored my life and meets all my needs according to His riches in Glory. Holy Spirit thought me how to live and depend on the word of God. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I live by faith in His word, (THE HOLY BIBLE)
Today I came to you with a testimony of how I became a DAUGHTER OF EL-ELYON the Most High God, and my question for you as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Would you like to join me to be a daughter a disciple of the Most High God? To give your life to Jesus and go with me make other disciples.
